Fully adjustable brass battery holder allows to move the batteries in all directions - front/rear and also left/right. The adjustable battery holder allows for easy and comfortable weight transfer adjustment. The front/rear weight balance can be adjusted in 4mm range. The brass material adds extra 7.5g weight for additional weight balance adjustment of the battery side of the car. 

The battery holders allow to mount the battery tape over the top of the battery only without the instalment of the tape under the chassis which allows increased flex of the chassis and as such helps to generate more traction. Thanks to the chassis-free instalment of the tape the ride height of the car can be slightly decreased as there is no more tape under the chassis. 

The adjustable holder and the battery backstops are CNC-machined from brass material and the battery holders are machined from premium lightweight graphite material.

The unique XRAY ECS Drive Shaft with 2.5mm pin equalizes the speed between the drive shaft and the wheel. With a unique 2-piece joint between the axle and the wheel, the same extreme wheel turning angle is divided into two shallower angles without joint binding. This means that at the same cornering speed, the inner wheel will not bind or vibrate. Drive through the corner is more stable, more precise, and easier to drive. When using this brace, the composite rear lower brace must be removed. The weight of the car is moved more to the rear, improving the rotation of the car and lowering CG.

Chassis design, layout, and flex have significant influence on the handling of the X1. The 2.5mm chassis made from harder graphite material was developed for very-high traction conditions, or when using tires that offer a lot of steering which makes the car more difficult to drive. This chassis makes the car more stable and easier to drive, and eliminates oversteering.

The super-narrow chassis front allows for maximum traction while having excellent steering and cornering speed. The chassis has ideal torsional stability to help eliminate the “scrub effect” in high-speed corners.
