Application Tips for the Pro Pack
We use the absolute best ingredients available in our Premium R/C Lubricant blends which means you can safely use less of them and expect outstanding results!  Follow these steps below to get the most from your Pro Pack!

Clear - Bearing Oil - Clean any existing oil or grease from your bearings and lay on on a towel and let dry completely.  Apply 1 drop of 1up Clear and spin the bearing by hand to allow it to spread.

Blue - O-Ring Grease - Coat your shock and diff o-rings thoroughly with Blue as shown above before installing.  It's also recommended to dip the threaded end of the shock shafts into Blue for added protection before inserting through the o-ring.

Red - CV Joint Oil - Clean any existing oil or grease from your CV joints and allow them to dry completely.  Apply 1 drop of 1up Red (1/10 scale or smaller) or 2 drops of 1up Red (1/8 scale) to the assembled joint as shown above.  For larger scale cars, apply as needed for even coverage.

The CV/Universal joint should be completely free at this point.  If there is any binding or notchy feel it's recommended to disassemble the joint and find the source of the problem before running again to prevent premature wear.

(New parts require cleaning to remove any left over machining oils or particles left over from the machining process.)

Gold - Anti-Wear Grease - Clean parts prior to application.  Apply 1up Gold to any high wear drivetrain parts. Use on any pins/pulleys or ring/pinion gears in the drivetrain to reduce noise and increase their lifespan.

Apply only a light amount of Gold to the surfaces being treated.  Gold is extremely tacky and will attract dust if applied too heavily!

Pink Ball Diff Grease - super tacky Ball Diff Grease gives you the on-power steering and high-speed stability needed to push your buggy with confidence and shave away at your lap times. Like all of 1UP greases, 1up Pink is proudly Made in the USA.

Wide, aggressive and ready to run out of the box. The Yikong DF8 is a 1/8 scale 4WD short course truck that comes alive exactly where things get dusty, rough and fast. At 659 mm long and 340 mm wide it plants itself firmly on the track, and thanks to the realistic short course body with mud flaps and LED lighting it looks seriously good doing it. This is a truck for desert trails, dirt roads, gravel and the bash spot around the corner.

The Yikong YK7081 TB8 TRAIL BREAKER.

Where the road ends, the TB8 is just getting started. The Yikong Trail Breaker is a 1/8 scale 4WD desert truck that hides genuine high-speed racing hardware underneath a rugged off-road SUV body complete with roll cage, LED headlights and roof-mounted spotlights. Desert trails, forest tracks, gravel pits - this truck doesn't pick its terrain, it simply takes on everything.

Technically the TB8 shares the no-compromise base of Yikong's 1/8 scale platform. Air is compressible - oil is not. As soon as bubbles are trapped in your shock oil, damping is no longer determined by the oil alone, and every setup change turns into guesswork. The SkyRC Shock Oil Bubble Buster is a compact vacuum degassing tool that pulls dissolved air and micro-bubbles out of the oil using negative pressure. The result: sluggish, vague damping response, left-to-right inconsistency and performance drift with temperature simply disappear - identical setups finally deliver identical results.

The adjustable pump voltage of 3–5.5V lets you match degassing strength to oil viscosity: a higher setting for thick, high-viscosity oils for fast and thorough degassing, a lower setting for thin oils to remove bubbles gently without disturbing the oil structure. De bandenroller van MR33 wordt gebruikt bij het voorbereiden van je racebanden.
Zoals je vast wel weet, ‘rollen’ veel coureurs hun nieuwe banden voor het eerste gebruik met wat druk over het setup-bord.
Dit proces dient om de secondelijm te ‘breken’ op plekken waar misschien te veel bandenlijm is gebruikt.
Ook kun je door het rollen de bandinleg iets platter drukken, waardoor de ruimte (de afstand) tussen de inleg en het bandrubber iets groter wordt.
Als je gewoon een inbussleutel of ander gereedschap gebruikt om te rollen, kun je geen gelijkmatige druk uitoefenen.
Bovendien druk je dan precies op de rand van het gat waar later de wielas doorheen gaat, waardoor je dit kunt vervormen – allesbehalve perfect!

De 3D-geprinte MR33-bandenroller is de perfecte oplossing.
Hij past perfect in de velg en zorgt voor gelijkmatig contact en gelijkmatige druk tijdens het rollen.
Ook wordt het gat in de velg niet belast en behoudt het zijn oorspronkelijke vorm.

We hebben echt lang aan deze set gewerkt. De grootste uitdaging was om de juiste materialen te vinden. Ons doel was vanaf het begin duidelijk: zo licht mogelijk, zo stijf mogelijk en tegelijkertijd een optimale besturing.
Met de Boom RC Ultra-Stiff heb je alles wat je nodig hebt om de nieuwe Avalon Vortex-carrosserie perfect te monteren.
Inbegrepen in de set:
* Carrosseriebeugels rechts en links met geïntegreerde nylonmoeren (gewichtsvoordeel ten opzichte van traditionele oplossingen)

Belangrijke opmerking
Het is ons opgevallen dat vanwege de vorm van de Avalon-achtervleugel niet elke vleugelbevestiging geschikt is. Als je de originele achtervleugel gebruikt, let er dan op dat deze niet wordt vervormd of samengedrukt door ongeschikte ringen of bevestigingen.
Michel Zierold (Mr. Boom RC) heeft de Ultra-Stiff Set al gebruikt tijdens de ETS in Trenčín en was vanaf het begin erg tevreden. De montage is eenvoudig, het systeem is licht en tegelijkertijd erg stijf.
Voor ons is deze set echt een kant-en-klaar pakket – uitpakken, monteren en rijden.
