Testing the PowerHD B7 servo in a Xray T4 2018

Testing the PowerHD B7 servo in a Xray T4 2018 Wednesday evening at the HFCC track means racing an having fun with club members. But also testing of new parts for our cars!

This time we tested the new PowerHD B7 Revolution HV low Profile Servo in an XRAY T4 2018. Setup was done by Steven and driving by Rick van den Akker.

First up was running modified with a Hobbywing Xerun XR10 Pro ESC combined with a Xerun V10 G3 4.5T motor. First impressions were positive, steering was predictable, even without using expo on the transmitter. Second test would be using the Muchmore ETS stock set consisting of the Muchmore Fleta V2 Euro ESC and Muchmore Fleta ZX V2 13.5T motor. Testing in the pits showed that we needed to put the supplied diode-cable between the ESC and receiver, otherwise the BEC would cut-out and stop the receiver from working. This is a known issue and has been addressed by Muchmore in the latest batch of ESC’s. Running the stock setup showed again how predictable and fast the PowerHD B7 is. A small mistake, which we all make from time to time, can be corrected with confidence.
We feel this servo is top of the line for a price that is hard to beat so it gets our Racingline-RC approval!
